La diff\u00e9rence d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie entre ces deux \u00e9tats est \u00e9gale \u00e0 la somme des \u00e9nergies des trois photons. L&rsquo;absorption \u00e0 trois photons est un processus de troisi\u00e8me ordre de plusieurs degr\u00e9s de magnitude plus faible que l&rsquo;absorption \u00e0 2 photons. Elle diff\u00e8re de l<span style=\"color: #333333;\">&lsquo;<a class=\"new\" style=\"color: #333333;\" title=\"Optique lin\u00e9aire (page inexistante)\" href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=Optique_lin%C3%A9aire&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1\">absorption lin\u00e9aire<\/a><\/span> \u00a0parce qu&rsquo;elle est proportionnelle \u00e0 la puissance quatri\u00e8me de l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 de la lumi\u00e8re, ce qui en fait un processus d&rsquo;<span style=\"color: #333333;\">optique non lin\u00e9aire.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Il faut savoir que la section efficace de capture exprim\u00e9e en (3PA) Three Photon Absorption est donn\u00e9e en unit\u00e9 (GM) de la physicienne Maria Goeppert Meyer 1931.(prix Nobel).<\/h4>\n<h4>Une \u00e9mission de fluorescence par conversion de fr\u00e9quence par absorption de trois photons a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e dans une solution de 2,5-benzothiazole 3,4-did\u00e9cyloxythi\u00e8ne thioph\u00e8ne (BBTDOT) dans du t\u00e9trahydrofurane, pomp\u00e9 avec des impulsions laser de 1,06 micron \u00e0 commutation Q de 10 ns. Le pic spectral de l\u2019\u00e9mission de fluorescence observ\u00e9e est situ\u00e9 dans la gamme 450-480 nm, et la d\u00e9pendance de l\u2019intensit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9mission visible sur l\u2019excitation IR ob\u00e9it \u00e0 la loi cubique.<\/h4>\n<h4>\u00c0 une concentration de solut\u00e9 plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e (0,18 M\/L) et \u00e0 des niveaux mod\u00e9r\u00e9s d\u2019intensit\u00e9 d\u2019excitation IR (50-200 MW\/cm(2)), un comportement limite optique \u00e9vident a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9 \u00e0 la suite de l\u2019absorption de trois photons.
