Le niveau inf\u00e9rieur de la transition laser est tr\u00e8s peu peupl\u00e9 (proche du niveau fondamental), ce qui facilite l\u2019inversion de population \u2014 donc <strong data-start=\"5293\" data-end=\"5326\">um seuil d\u2019inversion plus bas<\/strong> et fonctionnement plus facile\/stable. Le Nd:YAG est typiquement trait\u00e9 comme un syst\u00e8me quasi-4-niveaux pour la transition 1064 nm.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"5500\" data-end=\"5554\">C \u2014 Pompage par diodes en continu du barreau Nd:YAG<\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"5555\" data-end=\"6150\">\n<li data-start=\"5555\" data-end=\"5845\">\n<h3 data-start=\"5557\" data-end=\"5845\"><strong data-start=\"5557\" data-end=\"5571\">Principe :<\/strong> Les diodes \u00e9mettent des longueurs d\u2019onde proches des bandes d\u2019absorption du Nd\u00b3\u207a (\u2248 808 nm typiquement). La lumi\u00e8re des diodes est inject\u00e9e (par fibres ou diodes en ligne) dans le rod\/cristal, excite les ions Nd\u00b3\u207a et cr\u00e9e une population d\u2019\u00e9lectrons dans le niveau excit\u00e9.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5846\" data-end=\"6150\">\n<h3 data-start=\"5848\" data-end=\"6150\"><strong data-start=\"5848\" data-end=\"5873\">Pourquoi en continu ?<\/strong> Les diodes fournissent un flux d\u2019excitation continu (CW). Tant que la pompe alimente, la population augmente ; la cavit\u00e9 peut soit laisser sortir ce gain en \u00e9mission continue (CW) ou le stocker et le rel\u00e2cher en impulsions via Q-switch.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"6152\" data-end=\"6209\">D \u2014 Q-switching (r\u00e9gime impulsionnel court et intense)<\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"6210\" data-end=\"7232\">\n<li data-start=\"6210\" data-end=\"6481\">\n<h3 data-start=\"6212\" data-end=\"6481\"><strong data-start=\"6212\" data-end=\"6233\">But du Q-switch :<\/strong> obtenir une tr\u00e8s forte \u00e9nergie par impulsion (haute \u00e9nergie stock\u00e9e dans le milieu amplificateur) en bloquant d\u2019abord la sortie du r\u00e9sonateur puis en l\u2019ouvrant brusquement pour lib\u00e9rer l\u2019\u00e9nergie sous forme d\u2019une impulsion tr\u00e8s courte et intense.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"6482\" data-end=\"6875\">\n<h3 data-start=\"6484\" data-end=\"6504\"><strong data-start=\"6484\" data-end=\"6504\">Types courants :<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"6507\" data-end=\"6875\">\n<li data-start=\"6507\" data-end=\"6710\">\n<h3 data-start=\"6509\" data-end=\"6710\"><strong data-start=\"6509\" data-end=\"6533\">Acousto-optique (AO)<\/strong> : un cristal soumis \u00e0 une onde acoustique cr\u00e9e une diffraction modulable \u2014 relativement simple et robuste, mais les impulsions sont souvent un peu plus longues\/moins \u00abbrute\u00bb.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"6713\" data-end=\"6875\">\n<h3 data-start=\"6715\" data-end=\"6875\"><strong data-start=\"6715\" data-end=\"6739\">Electro-optique (EO)<\/strong> (ex. Pockels cell) : basculement tr\u00e8s rapide de la polarisation \u2192 tr\u00e8s bons contrastes d\u2019ouverture et impulsions plus nettes\/courtes.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"6876\" data-end=\"7232\">\n<h3 data-start=\"6878\" data-end=\"7232\"><strong data-start=\"6878\" data-end=\"6893\">Processus :<\/strong> pendant le \u2018hold-off\u2019 (Q ferm\u00e9) l\u2019amplification s\u2019accumule dans le milieu (tr\u00e8s haute inversion). Quand on ouvre le Q (trigger TTL ou interne), l\u2019\u00e9nergie emmagasin\u00e9e est \u00e9mise en une impulsion de dur\u00e9e nanosecondes (ici ~30 ns).
