Ces lasers envoyaient des impulsions lumineuses contr\u00f4l\u00e9es pour simuler les trajectoires de particules et calibrer la r\u00e9ponse \u00e9lectronique du d\u00e9tecteur.<\/h3>\n<h3 data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1271\">R\u00f4le du contrat<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1741\">\n<li data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1518\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1518\">Le contrat <strong data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1299\">590 255\/EF<\/strong> engageait <strong data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1329\">Arnold Neracher<\/strong>, ing\u00e9nieur sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 en lasers \u00e0 gaz puls\u00e9s (TEA N\u2082, excit\u00e9s \u00e9lectriquement), \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper et fournir une s\u00e9rie de lasers sp\u00e9cifiquement con\u00e7us pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins du syst\u00e8me UA1.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1609\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1521\" data-end=\"1609\">Au total, <strong data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1544\">60 lasers<\/strong> furent r\u00e9alis\u00e9s et livr\u00e9s au CERN dans le cadre de ce contrat.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1741\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1741\">Ce syst\u00e8me de calibration permit d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la fiabilit\u00e9 des mesures de trajectoires et l\u2019\u00e9talonnage fin du d\u00e9tecteur central.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1743\" data-end=\"1767\">Importance technique<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"2272\">\n<li data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1972\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1770\" data-end=\"1972\">Les lasers de Neracher \u00e9taient bas\u00e9s sur des architectures innovantes de lasers \u00e0 azote puls\u00e9s (TEA, Transversely Excited Atmospheric), capables de d\u00e9livrer des impulsions ultra-br\u00e8ves et r\u00e9p\u00e9titives.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1973\" data-end=\"2098\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1975\" data-end=\"2098\">Leur robustesse et leur compacit\u00e9 ont permis d\u2019\u00e9quiper de mani\u00e8re syst\u00e9matique les diff\u00e9rentes sections du d\u00e9tecteur UA1.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2272\">\n<h3 data-start=\"2101\" data-end=\"2272\">Ce d\u00e9veloppement illustre la collaboration \u00e9troite entre le CERN et des ing\u00e9nieurs\/entrepreneurs ind\u00e9pendants pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 des besoins exp\u00e9rimentaux tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cifiques.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"2274\" data-end=\"2301\">Sources compl\u00e9mentaires<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"2302\" data-end=\"2579\">\n<li data-start=\"2302\" data-end=\"2411\">\n<h3 data-start=\"2304\" data-end=\"2411\">CERN-EP\/89-62 : <em data-start=\"2320\" data-end=\"2408\">First running experience with the laser calibration system of the UA1 Central Detector<\/em>.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2497\">\n<h3 data-start=\"2414\" data-end=\"2497\">Brevets d\u2019Arnold Neracher sur les lasers \u00e0 gaz puls\u00e9s (ex.
